Book and leporello “Faraway ancestors“ are the result of many ethnological visits in museums. So diverse the origin of the works is ,so strong is their expression. The questions concerning “ Where from and where to”, the respect for the ancestors, their sorrows towards their future ,lead into religiousness and picturesque design. The grey wooden “watchman”, the ocean man, mysterious smiling Buddhist heads, very esthete Chinese masks ,demonic ,majestic or lovable effecting, are of an impressive outer appearance. Equipped with these symbols they are also o u r encestors, historically seen.
The black colour of the screen printing is the basis of the book.
